沈波,武漢大學經濟與管理學院副教授。主要研究領域為産業組織理論、微觀經濟理論、競賽設計理論、平台經濟與反壟斷等。研究成果發表在經濟學與管理學國際頂級和一流期刊 Production and Operations ManagementJournal of Economic Behavior and Organization, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Mathematical Economics, Journal of Public Economic Theory, Economic Inquiry 等。主持國家自然科學基金、教育部人文社科基金等項目。

摘要|Abstract

Digital platforms, such as Alibaba, Amazon, Facebook, Uber, have transformed the nature of our daily life. These multi-sided platforms typically get two or more distinct groups of agents on board, provide service to these agents, and enable interactions among them. Markets where platforms are prevalent have been scrutinized by many competition agencies over the past two decades, and some conducts adopted by dominant platforms have been considered anti-competitive. This lecture will discuss competition policy issues in multi-sided platform markets, including the essential definition of markets, the notion of market power, and the consequences of practices such as exclusivity, mergers and collusion.
